GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
The Ronco vineyard is located on the territory of the municipalities of Balerna and Coldrerio. On the terraced slopes the cultivated vines enjoy an excellent sunny position facing south. Vinification is traditional and the wine is aged for 12 months in 225-litre barrels (new barriques). Vintage on sale 2018
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
Deep garnet red colour, tending to purple. Intense bouquet, fresh, fine and balanced. Very vinous. Fruity, dominated by hints of morello cherry and cooked plum. Tobacco and cinnamon in the background. Taste frank but soft on the attack, delicate, balanced. Intense aromas, important and elegant tannic structure.
Long and pleasant persistence. Wine of great personality.
