Pure silk notebooks depicting Japanese works of art designed, printed and bound by hand in Italy. Among the different figures portrayed: a battle scene taken from the Japanese Taiheiki civil war chronicle from a Shinto shrine, the fabric of a Kimono belonging to the late Meiji - early Shōwa period, a floral landscape on a black field and a scene depicting forest birds both dating back to Coprifuton (futonji) of the Meiji period.
